Perla Rossa, a boutique hotel where good energy is at home
Sometimes we like a destination so much that, if time allows, we have to expand the reservation. We didn't want to leave Alaçati anymore.
As the hotel we were staying in, no longer had free rooms, and on booking.com- my favourite site when it comes to reservations, I could not book, being in Turkey, we were directed to a nearby location. After all, apart from packed-unpacked, what would we have lost? That's how Perla Rossa appeared. The severity of the walls was sweetened by the powdery pink of the balconies that swarmed with relief.
Ali greeted us on the doorstep. We knew that we would stay here, even before we saw the room that the host kindly offered to show us because there was silence. Discreetly, light entered the dining room through the glass windows. The first temptation was to order a Turkish coffee because from the open kitchen came a dizzying aroma. Accompanied by a shy smile, the coffee prepared by Ferda, Ali's wife, seated next to a few coffee beans, drawn in dark chocolate, would dictate what we were going to do. We had decided to leave for the city immediately, but we left later because we entrusted ourselves to a place where time seemed to stop, reviewing on what we saw on vacation that was coming to an end or talking to the hosts. Only when the old pendulum, sheltered in the shade of the olive tree that stubbornly remained in its place, began to sing, we got up and continued our journey.
Our room, located on the ground floor, sparkling with cleanliness, with a minimalist decor, in which a steamy curtain hung from the ceiling above a wrought iron bed was the first thing you noticed, overlooking a small terrace, separated from the rest of the room by a few flower pots.
An intimate place, where we would serve breakfast the next day: a few pieces of halloumi, fried enough to taste heavenly, a salad with tomatoes, chestnuts and peppers, olives sprinkled with oil and sprinkled with aromatic herbs, omelette, homemade jams, honey and butter. Fresh and delicious!
If you add to the hospitality of the hosts, the feeling of relaxation that floats since you crossed the threshold, you probably found the perfect accommodation.
