Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie, relaxation at the edge of the Indian Ocean

From all the hotels we stayed in Seychelles and liked very much, today I stopped at - Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie. A few minutes from the ferry that brought us to one of the heavenly places in Seychelles, Le Domaine exceeded our expectations

Since we set foot on La Digue, a golf cart has taken us unnoticed to the place where peace is the watchword. In fact, the whole island is under the sign of peace and, I would say, of going back in time. Carts pulled by oxen, bicycles, wooden covered school buses that take students from one place to another, are the only means of transportation we have seen here. I advise you not to rent even a bicycle because the island is tiny and it is a pleasure to see it on foot, among the locals. You will enjoy a fairytale atmosphere, which will positively charge you for a long time and, in the end, you will see that you are a little richer again due to this experience.

We chose one of the Villas de Charme, perched on top of the hill, away from any noise, except the one made by nature. In the middle of lush vegetation, a dream place with a beautiful terrace whose panoramic view over the ocean would be our place to relax in the days spent on La Digue.

A bamboo wall delimits the outdoor bathroom and lets a green gecko slip in here and there, so don't be scared when it appears.

Here we had perfect mornings, with the aroma of coffee and fresh fruit, in complete silence where only nature was allowed to speak. In a magical place, with relaxation beyond words, I chose to talk about, to give you an idea if you are looking for this accommodation type.
