Magic. From the moment you walk into Bali Butterfly Park, you feel like Alice in Wonderland. There is charm around you. And life. Butterflies that give dizzying turns. The least shy sit on you, while others tickle you, like the finest feather, when in their movement they have touched you. Sometimes you have the feeling that they are the fluffiest snowflakes that fall on the tip of your nose. You wipe yourself, but you're afraid of hurting them or breaking their flight. So wait. It's the best thing you can do while they're free. Free to fly wherever they want, when they do not sit on a flower that winked. Mirage. The line between reality and illusion is so thin. Insects you never thought you would see are now in your palms. You see a leaf, but in the next second, you feel it move. You see a stick, but the next minute you realize he has legs. Everything is deceptive and nothing is what it seems.

Only at the end, you realize that they are just butterflies. And nature. A nature as versatile as it is illusory. Lotuses give warm hugs and gentle kisses when they meet and bathe in life-giving water. Time flows slowly around you if it flows because sometimes he doesn't want to do anything.

Here we are in front of a nursery! Also of butterflies. What could be more sensitive than the moment when you see them come to life or when they are still waiting to come to light ?! The metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly is amazing.

What you need to know if you want to visit Bali Butterfly Park!

Bali Butterfly Park is situated in Tabanan area, at approximately 30 km distance from Denpasar and 32 km from Ubud. Ideal is to be there around 10 am to be sure that is not too busy.

Park is open between 8 am - 5 pm ( last entry at 4 pm), the entry ticket is Rp 50,000 (3 euro)/adults, children are getting free entrance.

There is no public transport, so it is best to rent a car with a driver (if you have not already chosen to rent a car or a scooter to explore the island). We rented a scooter during our vacation in Bali.
